FOX Bet, the sports betting joint venture between The Stars Group and broadcaster Fox Sports, is thrilled to announce that it has been named an authorized gaming partner of Major League Baseball (MLB) in the United States.

The MLB’S roster of Authorized Gaming Partners has now been brought to four, with FOX Bet joining FanDuel, DraftKings and MGM Resorts.

Although the terms of this ‘multiyear’ deal has not been disclosed, it is known that FOX Bet will be granted the opportunity to use MLB’s official data feed and league trademarks for both its real-money wagering app as well as via FOX Sports Super 6, the free-play sports prediction game rolled out by FOX Bet earlier last month.

FOX Bet and MLB will team up to establish responsible gaming controls in order to protect players and also develop best-in-class practices to sustain the integrity of MLB games.

Kenny Gersh, the Executive Vice President of Gaming and New Business of MLB commented that the agreement would ensure that fans have a choice of partners in the market.

Gersh went on to say that it has already signed up the likes of DraftKings, FanDuel and MGM Resorts as authorized partners.

Gersh also said that the official data feed, including real time and reliable game statistics, will enable The Stars Group to build unique and engaging gaming products around their sport.

Robin Chhabra, the TSG executive who was appointed Chief Executive Officer of FOX bet said that access to MLB data would provide a ‘better experience for their customers’.
