Golden Nugget Online Gaming (GNOG) has entered into a 20-year agreement with Tioga Downs Casino Resort in New York in terms of which it will gain access to future online gaming in the state of New York, subject to legislation, regulatory approval, license eligibility and availability.

GNOG enjoyed a record year in New Jersey and recently launched in Michigan. This new agreement gives it market access to the state of New York for online casino or mobile sports wagering under a Tioga Downs’ license, regulations permitting.

Should New York lawmakers authorize any form of online gaming or mobile sports betting, Golden Nugget’s interactive platform will be operated in conjunction with Tiago Downs.

In terms of the agreement, GNOG will pay Tiogo Downs, which is one of only seven commercial and tribal casinos in the state and located along the New York-Pennsylvania border, a percentage of its net gaming revenue, which will be subject to minimum royalty payments for the duration of agreement.

Jeff Gural, owner of Tioga Downs, commented that Tioga Downs is excited to partner with one of the best performing online gaming operators in the US.

Gural also said that GNOV has one of the most experienced online teams, a historied US casino brand and a proven track record in their neighboring state of New Jersey. He added that he is confident GNOG will bring an exciting product to his home state of New York.

Thomas Winter, Company President at GNOG, said that they are very excited to sign this long-term partnership with Jeff Gural and Tioga Downs. He added that New York is key to their growth strategy and they look forward to the state embracing online gaming.
