New York-listed International Game Technology (IGT), a multinational gambling company that produces slot machines and other gambling technology, has announced that it has extended its US sports betting footprint to the state of Oregon.

The supplier has installed its PlaySports platform and kiosks at The Mill Casino situate in North Bend that sees Oregon becoming the eleventh state in which International Game Technology has rolled out its sports betting technology.

The Coquille Indian Tribe-owned casino’s customers now have the opportunity to place a selection of sports wagers over the counter via IGT PlaySports kiosks.

Terri Porcaro, the Chief Executive Officer of The Mill Casino, commented that they are extremely pleased to be the only casino in Southern Oregon to provide their guests with access to the excitement of sports betting through IGT’s PlaySports technology.

Pocaro added that this new option perfectly complements their slots and table games offering and gives their customers even more reasons to visit their waterfront destination.

Enrico Drago, the Senior Vice President of IGT PlayDigital, said that enabling the Mill Casino in Oregon to offer world-class sports betting experiences is another important milestone in the expansion of International Game Technology’s position in the US sports betting market.

Drago also said that the solution’s market-readiness and proven capacity to seamlessly process high volumes of bets across devices and channels continues to differentiate IGT PlaySports in the market and has helped fuel its expansion into 11 US states.

International Game Technology has also launched sports betting for casinos in Nevada, New Jersey, Rhode Island, West Virginia, Mississippi, New York, Iowa, Indiana and Arkansas.
