Kahle Burns is making it big in the high-stakes arena with another major victory under his name. The Australian poker pro just won the Triton Series $75,000 No-Limit Hold’em event at the Mediterranean Poker Party in Cyprus for $1,730,000, the largest live tournament score of his career.

Burns Claims Career-Best Score

Burns, a two-time World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelet winner, topped an 88-entry field to secure the title and the massive first-place prize, which marks his third seven-figure cash in a poker tournament. With his latest win, Burns climbs to the no. 2 spot of Australia’s All-Time Money List with over $13.1 million in total live earnings, overtaking Joe Hachem and second only to Michael Addamo.

His Triton Series victory follows two final table finishes in high-roller events in less than a month – he recently finished 6th in a $10,400 MPP High Roller event at the same festival in Cyprus and placed as runner-up in a €50K NLH event at the European Poker Tour (EPT) Barcelona in August.

Final Table Results

Burns defeated Sam Greenwood heads-up, with the latter earning $1,210,000 for finishing second. The other players who reached the final table in the $75K Triton Series event are Seth Davies (3rd, $815,000), Yuri Dzivielevski (4th, $630,000) and Talal Shakerchi (5th, $510,000).
