Microgaming, a leading supplier of online gaming software to top-notch operators around the globe, is thrilled to announce that it was crowned Platform of the Year at the very first EGR B2B Virtual Awards that took place last week.

The Isle of Man based firm was commended for its ‘strong well-established platform’ and ‘forward-thinking, customer-centric management team’ as it stood up to rigid competition from a number of firms which include IGT and Scientific Games to win the highly sought-after title.

The judges commented on Microgaming being granted the award by saying that there was an impressive entry from the industry giant, still expanding after 26 years with tier 1 contract wins such as 888, Mansion and GVC and that its content aggregation platform is industry leading.

The judging panel included executives from operators that included Kindred Group, William Hill and GVC and presided over 39 categories that ranged from sports data provider to bingo supplier.

The panel also remarked on Microgaming’s accomplishment by saying that the firm has a strong well-established platform with a wide offering of third-party content and good commercial deals in the relevant timeline.  It went on to say that it was an impressive entry from the industry giant, still expanding after 26 years with tier 2 contract wins such as GVC, Mansion and 888.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the EGR B2B Awards were held virtually for the first time with the online-only event being hosted by Ortis Deley, Channel 5 star of The Gadget Show.
