Isle of Man-based Microgaming, a leading online gaming software giant, has announced that it has entered into a partnership with the SMP Compliance Academy in terms of which it will receive ongoing compliance and regulatory training to its staff.

Roger Raatgever, the Chief Executive Officer of Microgaming, commented on the partnership by saying that regulatory compliance is at the very center of everything they do and as such, they must continually train their people and ensure that their knowledge is as up-to-date as possible. He also said that the Compliance Academy, designed by SMP eGaming, meets that requirement and they are delighted to have partnered with them.

The Head of Compliance at Microgaming, Kim Broad, added that they conducted an appraisal of the online training market for their sector and The Compliance Academy stood head and shoulders above the rest from a content, user experience and overall functionality perspective.

Broad went on to say that being able to manage many hundreds of users from one platform, allocate courses and evaluate and report on results across their various teams makes the delivery of their compliance training more engaging, efficient and cost effective.

Ted Pepper, the Director of SMP eGaming, the leading specialist gaming consultancy based in the Isle of Man, said that they are delighted that Microgaming has chosen The Compliance Academy for regulatory and compliance training. He added that the commitment to the training and development of their people is well known and admired within the gaming sector, and to be given the opportunity to become a core component of that is a strong endorsement of the platform and the quality of the service they have developed.
