New independent game studio, Slingshot Studios, has revealed that it will be developing exclusive gaming content for award-winning Isle of Man-based software giant Microgaming.
Slingshot Studios are game builders focusing on “enhancing successful slot-game staples and innovating with fresh new features”.
The first official release under the new Slingshot Studio brand is ‘Cash of Kingdoms’ that will be released at casinos offering Microgaming’s portfolio of games on Wednesday, 10th October 2018. The new slot includes a new feature in the form of Invading Wilds, which occurs in the Base Game as well as the Free Spins.
The fantasy-themed online slot was teased by Microgaming on the third day of ICE Totally Gaming in London earlier this year with the Microgaming Bar filled with medieval accessories that included barrels for tables, archery targets and full sets of armor.
John Coleman, the Chief Executive Officer of Microgaming, commented that Microgaming’s extensive digital portfolio will benefit from the unique personality and expertise of Slingshot Studios, who are developing original games with exciting engines and features, all targeted at specific markets and audiences.
Coleman went on to say that the content they have coming is fantastic and their drive to create and challenge is incredible. He added that Slingshot are the latest in a number of game studios to be announced as exclusive providers to Microgaming and they look forward to unveiling more content from them in the coming months.
