Fantasma Games, a new Swedish based online casino software provider, has teamed up with Microgaming and their Quickfire platform to release a Japanese Sumo Wrestler themed slot game titled Super Sumo.

The new 5 reel and 25 pay line slot game went live at selected Microgaming casinos this week through the Quickfire platform and can be played from 25p to £25 per spin. Super Sumo is available for play on PCs, laptops, mobiles as well as tablets (including iOS and Android)

The slot game comes with a catchy Japanese soundtrack and symbols on the reels that include Japanese writing style playing cards (A, K, Q, J and 1) as well as the 4 Japanese sumo wrestlers who each display a different emotion (disgust, fear, anger and sad). The sumo wrestlers cheer players on when they get a winning combination.

The Wild symbol is the smiling sumo wrestler that substitutes for all symbols with the exception of the Super Sumo symbol. Five of these symbols across a pay line rewards players with 500 coins. Should 2 Wild symbols appear, it will trigger the Happy Wilds Stick Re-spin feature which awards a free re-spin with the wilds becoming sticky and re-spins continuing until no more wilds appear.

Should the Super Sumo scatter symbol appear simultaneously on reels 1, 3 and 5, it will award players with 10 Free Spins.

It took Fantasma Games, in collaboration with Microgaming, a period of eight months to create the Super Sumo slot and it is rumored that they intend launching another slot in this genre titled Samurai Ken.
