WymmBET, the online gaming division of Wynn Resorts Ltd, opened its virtual doors to bettors in Michigan in January 2021 and has now partnered with the National Basketball Association’s (NBA) Detroit Pistons.

In terms of the multi-year deal, a number of new co-branded marketing efforts aimed at boosting the fan experience has been introduced while giving enthusiasts of the Eastern Conference Central Division members fresh ways to interact with their team that go beyond game day and expand to both online and offline.

The new partnership will be presented by ‘Wynn Wednesdays’, a direct-to-consumer promotion that can only be found on the WynnBET mobile app and website. Each Wednesday during the regular season, the new program will feature opportunities for fans to enter and win one of several prizes that include unique VIP experiences, tickets and team player memorabilia.

Inside the Pistons’ Little Caesars Arena located in Midtown, Wynn Interactive’s mobile betting platform intends launching ‘in-person activations’ which will include pop-up experiences and luxury in-suite hospitality.

WynnBET will also launch several advertising and sponsorship efforts across the Pistons mobile app, game day radio programs, social channels and in-arena.

During the past few months, the mobile betting platform has strengthened its standing as an industry partner of choice, having entered into other marketing agreements with several ‘high-profile’ sports franchises.

Early last month the digital gaming division announced that it had entered into a multi-season marketing collaboration with the NBA’s Western Conference Southwest Division Memphis Grizzlies and was also named an authorized gaming operator for NASCAR in October 2020 as part of the multi-year national Sports Betting partnership.
