The Isle of Man based Microgaming software group reported this week regarding a charity poker tournament that took place last month. The Microgaming Poker Network Team apparently enjoyed the poker tournament with operators during the ICE Totally Gaming 2017 event that was held in London. The tournament itself was held on the luxurious super yacht hotel, the Sunborn London which was at Microgaming’s exclusive use throughout the exhibition.

All in all, 80 people competed for the right to donate their prizes to their charities of choice. The winner of the main event of this charity tournament hails from Crazy Vegas Casino. Alon donated his EUR 3,000 prize to the Teenage Cancer Trust. Second place was Sean from Lucky 247 who gave his EUR 2,000 to Save the Rhino.  Jean-Christophe Antoine, an operator from Betsson also chose to donate his EUR 1,000 prize for coming third to Save the Rhine.

“The Network Games team was honored to host such an entertaining and rewarding event,” said Jean-Luc Ferriere, Director of Network Games at Microgaming in press release today. “I would like to thank everyone, not least the players, involved in making the MPN Charity Poker Tournament such a success, and look forward to including it in our calendar for ICE 2018. Microgaming and the MPN team believe that Playing It Forward is very important and we hope the four winning charities benefit greatly from the prize money donated.”
