Microgaming’s progressive jackpot network awarded 1,150,559 wins from January to June of this year paying out a massive amount of €89,879,343 across the jackpots.

Eight of the lucky winners managed to take home a seven or eight figure payout during the first six months of 2019 with the total prize money earned among these eight coming to over €43 million.

The largest jackpot of this year was won by a player wagering on the Mega Moolah progressive online slot game at Zodiac Casino on 30th January 2019.  The prize totaled an amount of €13,328,028.16 and was the third largest prize in the history of the network.

A lucky punter managed to win an amount of just over €5.4 million on 3rd May 2019 while yet another winner was given a prize of just over €5.6 million.  Both prizes were paid out by Microgaming in lump sums.

John Coleman, Chief Executive Officer at Microgaming, commented that 2019 is gearing up to be a great year for Microgaming’s progressive jackpot network, with total lifetime payouts fast approaching the €1.1 billion mark. 

Coleman congratulated all winning players on the network, which he said, remains the largest in the industry and features the record-breaking Mega Moolah progressive slot.  He added that they look forward to hosting more life-changing wins in the second half of the year.

The largest jackpot ever awarded is the record-breaking amount of €18,915,872.81 that was won on 28th September 2018 by a lucky player wagering on Mega Moolah at Grand Mondial Casino.

Seventy-four millionaires have been made on the network to date.
