Betfred, a leading bookmaker based in the United Kingdom has enhanced its partnership with Scientific Games that will see it launch digital and retail sports betting services in the state of Colorado.

In terms of the extended partnership, the bookmaker has rolled out Scientific Games’ OpenSports’ complete retail solutions that include a range of self-service betting terminals at the Saratoga Casino property in Black Hawk, Colorado.

In January of this year the bookmaker’s Betfred USA Sports division entered into a deal with the Saratoga Casino to offer sports wagering services across Colorado.

Scientific Games’ digital services will also be launched by the UK based operator in time for the 2020-21 National Football League (NFL) Season which is scheduled to commence in September 2020.  Scientific Games will also supply Betfred with its Open Platform player account management system that can be used in Colorado.

Mark Stebbings, Chief Operating Officer at Betfred Group, commented that OpenSports remains a core component of their US sports betting strategy.
