Casino operator Century Casinos has entered into a new partnership with Las-Vegas based sports betting brand Circa Sports in an endeavor to launch online sports wagering services in the state of Colorado.

In terms of the new agreement, Circa Sports is planning to roll out its mobile sports betting application in the state, in association with one of Century’s Colorado Master Licenses for Sports wagering.

Applications have been submitted within the state via a subsidiary of Circa Sports, to obtain the required licenses prior to 1st May, 2020.

The agreement represents an initial 15-year link-up that includes a share of net gaming revenue, a market access fee and a minimum revenue guarantee that is payable every year.

Century Casinos has an additional two master licenses available for sports betting partnerships within the region, with this first app scheduled to launch in a little under three months.

Circa Sports’ Century Casino link-up comes after decisions were made last November when voters in Colorado approved Proposition DD, establishing state legislation approving sports wagering throughout the state.

Derek Stevens, the Chief Executive Officer of Circa Sports, commented that they are excited to be at the forefront of sports betting in Colorado with their partners at Century Casinos.

Stevens went on to say that Colorado has proven to be an ideal place to mark the official expansion of Circa Sports outside of Nevada with its pro-growth regulatory environment.  He added that the Colorado Division of Gaming has done an excellent job to ensure a seamless application and launch process.
