Sports Information Services (SIS), a leading multi-channel supplier, has revealed that it has entered into an agreement with Codere in terms of which it will deliver its innovative new 24/7 Live Betting Channel to one of the leading Spanish operators.
The new deal will see Codere’s online operations in Spain and Mexico integrate the betting channel, which will showcase live horse racing and greyhound action throughout the day.
The agreement entered into between the parties will also see Codere customers gaining access to more than 33,500 greyhound races per year broadcast weekly from the top UK and Irish tracks, as well as more than 27,000 horse races from over 130 of the world’s leading racecourses.
The schedule of quick-fire, short-form betting events will be delivered in a ‘Watch & Bet” format that will help to increase engagement and dwell time, and drive betting revenues.
Peter Lucas, Sportsbook Trading Director at Codere, commented that they are absolutely thrilled to have struck this deal with SIS, which allows them to greatly expand the volume of horse racing and greyhound races that they can stream to Codere customers online.
Sandra McWilliams, Sales Director at SIS, said that they are delighted to be delivering their new channel to Codere, a global operator which has a strong reputation in Europe and Latin America.
McWilliams also said that Codere’s online customers will now have access to live pictures and data from the world’s best racing and greyhound venues, with the Watch & Bet model designed to encourage more betting activity.
