Genius Sports, a global leader in sports data technology, is pleased to announce that it has entered into a data partnership with the Football Association of Serbia (FSS) that will see Genius Sports become the official data and integrity partner of the sport’s national governing body.
Genius Sports will commercialize Football Association of Serbia’ match real-time data from the Serbian Superliga, First League and FSS Cup competitions.
In terms of the agreement signed between the parties, Genius Sports will also protect Serbian football from any threats of match-fixing and betting related corruption by warning the Football Association of Serbia of any suspicious betting activity on its competitions through its sports bet monitoring system which compares odd movements from global betting markets with real-time predictive algorithms.
Jovan Surbatovic, the General Secretary of the Football Association of Serbia commented on the agreement by saying that maximizing the value of data has become a crucial responsibility for all football organizations.
Surbatovic went on to say that he is convinced that the results of their cooperation with Genius Sports will be hugely positive for their organization.
The Managing Director of Genius Sports, Steven Burton, added that technology’s role in unlocking the value of sports data and safeguarding sports against match-fixing is more vital than ever before.
Burton also said that they are delighted to be partnering with the Football Association of Serbia, growing their global network and driving their future growth.
