Habanero, a leading casino game and slots developer, recently announced that it would be expanding into the gaming market in Romania after being awarded a new license from the Romanian gambling regulator.

The slot game specialist was accredited with the license from the Romanian gambling regulator enabling it to expand its footprint further into Europe by supplying its vast games suite to gambling operators in Romania. Habanero will also endeavor to enter into supply deals for its fast growing portfolio of table games and online slots.

Romania is currently a rapidly growing gambling market which has witnessed expansion and growth in the gaming and betting industries over the last ten years.

The new license was awarded just one month after Habanero was awarded a license from the Malta Gaming Authority, reinforcing the iGaming provider’s commitment to expand in Europe.

Arcangelo Lonoce, European Head of Business Development at Habanero, commented on the company’s latest accreditation by saying that they are thrilled that the team’s consistent diligence has been recognized by the regulatory body in Romania, a market which they believe to be one of the most interesting and dynamic in Europe.

Lonoce went on to say that the news will help them further extend their ever-growing customer reach within the region, following on from a series of high-profile commercial agreements with a succession of Southern Europe’s foremost operators.
