European online gambling operator Kindred Group, the operator of the Unibet brand, has entered into a multi-state agreement with Las Vegas-headquartered casino giant Caesars Entertainment.

The new deal will see Kindred Group continue to boost its expansion in the U.S., entering Iowa and Indiana to roll out sports betting and online gaming services for the casino operator in both states, subject to the passing of applicable laws and the parties obtaining the necessary licenses.

The agreement between Kindred and the major casino operator provides it with the opportunity to pursue licensing in Indiana as well as Iowa over a ten-year period.  The two states legalized retail as well as online sports betting last summer.

Kindred is due to partner Caesars’ Horseshoe Hammond casino in Indiana, while in Iowa it will be operating in partnership with the casino operator’s Harrah’s Council Bluffs property.  Customers in both states will be serviced by Kindred through its flagship Unibet brand.

Kindred Group previously entered New Jersey in September of last year in a partnership deal with the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City where Unibet operates as one of three mobile skins, and a month later Pennsylvania, following an agreement entered into with the Mohegan Sun Pocono, and this latest move expands its presence in the U.S.

Manuel Stan, Senior Vice President of Kindred U.S. commented that Caesars’ geographical spread in the U.S gives them a unique opportunity to build their footprint, with Indiana and Iowa next in line and potential other states lined up.

Stan added that they also share Caesars’ vision to offer customers an unforgettable experience where every guest is treated like a ‘Caesar’.
