Microgaming marks two decades since landing on the shores of the Isle of Man and has revealed that it will be making 20 donations to the island’s charities this year.

The supplier will be supporting 20 organizations touching all parts of the community through its PlayItForward corporate social responsibility scheme.

The North Ramsey Bowling Club, Ramsey Grammar School, IOM Foodbank and a young person training to be a paramedic have already been supported by Microgaming and there are 16 more donations that are due to follow in 2021.

Since relocating to the Isle of Man in April 2001, Microgaming has been committed to supporting the local community in the Isle of Man and has contributed over £3.5 million to charitable initiatives.

Microgaming is planning to further celebrate its 20 year milestone by creating a ‘microforest’ in the Manx countryside, which will benefit wildlife and biodiversity for many years to come. The company’s staff intends planting 1,500 native trees in the south of the Isle of Man in October of this year, working in conjunction with the Manx countryside

John Coleman, the Chief Executive Officer at Microgaming, commented on the company’s milestone by saying that it is a special year for all of them at Microgaming, and he could not think of a more appropriate way to mark 20 years on the Isle of Man than supporting 20 of the island’s great causes.

Coleman went on to say that he is proud that they continue to extend their roots here year after year, playing an active role in the community through PlayItForward.
