Microgaming, the world’s leading supplier of online gaming software, is thrilled to reveal that its new headquarters that opened for business on 31st July 2017, has been listed in Adzuna’s “The 10 Coolest Offices of 2017” in the United Kingdom alongside a number of the biggest consumer brands that include Talk Talk, Deliveroo and Superdrug.
Microgaming’s new Isle of Man headquarters is a five-story office building that opened just two years after construction began and features a unique sky bridge that joins the new and existing offices to create a campus for the company.
The office building that is located on Circular Road and named Sixty Two, is home to more than 120 Microgaming employees.
Employees have a choice of hot desks, standing desks, work booths or break-out areas on each floor of the building. The fourth floor is a communal area that features a pool table, table tennis table, dart board, poker table and a library as well as a fully equipped in-house gym and treatment room. A canteen and coffee shop offers staff an exclusive Microgaming coffee blend.
Microgaming’s office achieved a BREEAM rating of “Excellent” for being environmentally friendly designed.
Roger Raatgever, Chief Executive Officer at Microgaming, commented that they have been enjoying the new building and its facilities for a little over three months now and feedback from staff has been incredibly positive. He added that their presence on the Isle of Man continues to grow with over 120 staff at Sixty Two and nine vacancies currently listed on their website.
