Iconic casino software provider, Microgaming and the Montreal-based PearFiction Studios announced the signing of an exclusive agreement this week. The partnership begins with the launch of a brand new 40 payline slot game, Chicago Gold, which goes live on Microgaming online casinos on February 4th.
Under the terms of the deal, PearFiction Studios will supply content to Microgaming’s platform.
This is not the first time that Microgaming and the games studio have worked together. In the past, they collaborated on a one-off occasion on The Smashing Biscuit slot. The success of the game led to the decision to work together through an exclusive partnership.
The chief executive officer of PearFiction Studios, Thierry Semoff said: “When an industry pioneer like Microgaming wants you on board, it’s a real recognition that the games you’re creating are good and that all your hard work is paying off.”
Microgaming’s director of games, Andrew Booth complimented the games studio and explained why his company decided to sign the partnership deal.
“PearFiction Studios are proven innovators who marry great artwork with technical insights, game performance and a huge sense of fun,” he said.
A second game by PearFiction for Microgamig’s platform is already in the pipelines, and the launch of Blazing Mammoth slot will be announced in the near future.
