According to a report released by the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement, the Garden State is doing extremely well with its online gambling industry. The authority said that in the month of August, 2019, online casinos and online sportsbooks in New Jersey saw revenues increase by over $7 million, month on month. In total, revenues jumped to just over $60 million when online sports betting was included in the haul.

The gross online casino gaming win was $39.39 million, while gross online poker win was $1.71 million. However, the most impressive detail was gross online sports betting win which was $19.2 million. The build up to college football season and the official start of the NFL season in September certainly contributed to the record numbers reported in August.

The leader in online casino revenue last month was definitely Golden Nugget Casino which recorded nearly $15 million. Following in second place but quite far behind was Resorts Casino with $6.85 million. Borgata, in third-place, may as well have tied with Resorts, with $6.72 million reported. Others on the list were Caesars ($4.26 million), Ocean Resort, Hard Rock and Tropicana.

When it came to online poker revenue, Caesars was top of the ranks with $0.704 million, followed by Resorts ($0.593 million) and Borgata ($0.410 million).
