After years of efforts, months of marketing hype, and just a few short days of soft launch, Poker Stars has finally received the green light to go live with a full range of services by the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement.

Besides providing players with multiple online poker tournaments, including Poker Stars’ signature Spin & Go variant, the platform will also be home to a range of online casino games such as slots, blackjack, baccarat and roulette.  These games will be provided by the games studio of NYX Gaming Group, Next Gen, as well as the award-winning Swedish software company, NetEnt.

The chief executive of NYX Gaming, Matt Davey said about the launch of the group’s games on the new Poker Stars platform: “It’s great to see Poker Stars launching in New Jersey with over 20 titles from our studio NextGen; this is part of our six-year licensing agreement with Amaya, and follows the successful launch of our games on Poker Stars’ global online casino.”

The director of casino at Poker Stars, Sam Hobcraft added that NextGen slots have proven to be very popular with customers in Europe, and the group was pleased to now offer these games in New Jersey as well.”

Amaya chairman and CE, David Baazov said that his company was extremely proud to bring the Poker Stars brand to New Jersey. “Working with our partner, Resorts Casino Hotel, we look forward to providing the most exciting, innovative and secure gaming experience to New Jersey,” he said.
