Leading online gambling operator Pinnacle has announced that it has entered into a strategic partnership with Askott Entertainment, the Vancouver-based company behind eSports and iGaming platform Chameleon Gaming.
Pinnacle will support Askott’s continual development of the betting technology by providing its trading and risk management services to the platform.
Users are currently offered eSports betting, Streamer betting and eSports fantasy games by Chameleon Gaming while plans are underway to also add proprietary casino games.
Marco Blume, the Trading Director at Pinnacle, commented on the new partnership by saying that they have worked closely with Askott on the development of their new API and are happy to transform this pilot project into a long-term partnership.
Blume went on to say that Askott combines the best of passion for eSports, tech and gaming and they are happy that their product can be used to enhance their offering.
Benn Bradtke, Askott’s Chief Product Officer and Chief Commercial Officer, said that having Pinnacle as a partner to support its fixed-odds offering would ‘guarantee a level of operational excellence that is needed in this young market to create commercial value for their clients.
Scott Burton, the Chief Executive Officer of Askott, added that they believe that the only way to innovate in this sector is to have control over the value chain and be vertically integrated.
Burton went on to say that it is their goal to become an integrated one-stop shop for people who want to launch brands targeting the audience of tomorrow.
