Playtech BGT Sports, one of the market leaders in providing omni-channel sports betting solutions, has extended its longstanding deal with Betfred and will continue to supply it with self-service betting terminals (SSBTs).

The contract will run until the end of December 202l and will continue to cover the operator’s high street shops throughout the United Kingdom.

The extension of the partnership is due to increasing customer demand for Playtech BGT Sports’ (PBS) award-winning SSBT’s which became sought-after in retail sports betting and known for producing double digit growth year-on-year.

Several exciting new content and exclusive features will see it deliver the latest sporting events and information direct to shop customers, together with a host of pre-match and in-play betting opportunities.

Lee Drabwell, Regional Manager of UK, ROI, Belgium and Italy at Playtech BGT Sports, commented that they are delighted to be extending their deal with Betfred and look forward to continuing to deliver the latest sporting events and information directly to their customers’ fingertips via their award-winning SSBTs.

Drabwell also said that with an action-packed summer of football ahead, they are confident that 2020 will prove to be another record-breaking year for PBS as they deliver the most modern, digitized, in-shop user experience available on the market.

Mark Stebbings, Group Chief Operating Officer at Betfred Group added that self-service betting has quickly become an integral part of their retail estate’s offering and they are thrilled to be extending their agreement with BPS through to 2021.

Stebbings added that their partnership with them means they can continue to provide their customers with an increasing number of excellent in-shop betting options via PBS’s SSBTs, all proven to drive football and incremental revenue.
