Sports betting solutions provider Playtech BGT Sports (PBS) has revealed that it has extended its long-term partnership with British bookmaker Jenningsbet in terms of which it will continue to supply the bookmaker with self-service betting terminals (SSBTs).

The deal, that is good for multiple years, will see Jenningsbet’s retail kiosks continuing to be utilizing Playtech terminals throughout the United Kingdom.

Lee Drabwell, the Senior Commercial Director at Playtech BGT Sports, commented on the deal by saying that they are delighted to have extended their deal with Jennings and look forward to providing its customers with the best products and features available.

Drabwell went on to say that their SSBT’s are now an integral part of the modern betting shop experience, particularly when it comes to in-play betting options.   He added that with the industry’s leading operators like Jennings lining up to extend their agreements, they see this deal as the perfect endorsement for how good their product is.

Julian Knight, the Managing Director at Jenningsbet, said that when it comes to driving incremental revenue and delivering the digitized retail experience that customers increasingly desire, extending their contract with PBS was a no-brainer.

Knight also said that self-service is integral to retail betting’s future and they are seeing continued adoption across all their shops as more and more customers take to using them.  He added that enhancing the customer experience through market leading technology is key to their strategy and they see PBS as the perfect partner to deliver that.
