Amaya-owned PokerStars has revealed that it has entered into a content supply agreement with Microgaming that will see the integration of Microgaming’s industry leading casino and mobile content go live, via the Quickfire platform, across PokerStars’ Casino platform this summer.

PokerStars’ decision to diversify into PokerStars Casino has made it possible for the two businesses to join forces and work together.  Both companies are headquartered in the Isle of Man.

In terms of the deal PokerStars Casino will gain access to Microgaming’s portfolio of hundreds of slot games which include branded content as well as jackpot games linked to the world’s largest progressive jackpot network.

The Director of Quickfire at Microgaming, Andrew Clucas, commented on the new agreement by saying that signing a major industry name like PokerStars is always exciting for the Quickfire team and wider Microgaming business.  He also said that with their offices only a stone throw away from theirs, it will be great to be working closely with PokerStars through a content agreement that will bring their range of games to their millions of players across the world.

Guy Templer, Chief Operating Officer of PokerStars, added that Microgaming needs no introduction.  Her added that their expertise in building industry leading slot games is second to none and customers at PokerStars Casino will be able to play the best content that Microgaming’s Quickfire platform has to offer.

Templer went on to say that the content includes top hit slot games, massive brands and huge jackpot games.  He added that they are certain that Microgaming’s games will be very well received by their players and they will reinforce their position as the world’s fastest-growing online casino.
