Scientific Games, a global leader in the gaming and lottery industries has announced that it has signed a five-year extension to its longstanding Digital Sports Betting and Online Gaming Agreement with Canadian provincial lottery operator British Columbia Lottery Corporation (BCLC).
In terms of the renewed deal, which runs through to 2024, Scientific Games will provide a fully enhanced suite of digital sports betting and iGaming solutions that includes player account management services.
The deal will also see BCLC gaining access to Scientific Games’ complete range of OpenSports products, the solutions range based around its OpenBet platform, including promotional tools, scoreboards and customized user interface. OpenSports powers sports betting operations with the player at the core of its solutions, keeping dependability, involvement and an intuitive connection top-of-mind.
Cameron Adams, BCLC’s Interim Vice President, digital and enterprise services, commented that Scientific Games has helped power significant growth for BCLC’s PlayNow.com digital gaming site over the past several years, and this will help them to continue to grow and evolve their customer experiences into the future.
Jordan Levin, the Chief Executive Officer of Scientific Games’ SG Digital division, said that they have worked closely with BCLC, and they are excited to continue building momentum with them in the Canadian market.
