According to a recent report, SciPlay, a leading provider of casino social games online and on mobile, has donated an amount of $82,000 to a humanitarian aid organization Direct Relief, a registered charity that improves the health and lives of people affected by poverty or emergencies, active in the United States and over 80 different countries across the world – without regard to religion, politics, or ability to pay.

SciPlay raised the funds through its vigorous in-app events endeavoring to provide personal protective equipment to medical teams during the Coronavirus crisis.

SciPlay’s in-app events launched within the majority of its core games, aiming to leverage its user base of nearly 8 million gamers each month.

Top-notch games from SciPlay include Gold Fish Casino Slots, Hot Shot Casino, Monopoly Slots, Jackpot Party Casino, Quick Hit Slots and 88 Fortunes Slots.

SciPlay is a break-away division of Scientific Games and developer and publisher of online games bringing the most thrilling casino, casual and bingo mobile social games to audiences.  Social casino games create an online version of popular casino slot machines by brands like Bally, WMS, SHFL and Barcrest.

Josh Wilson of SciPlay commented that their games serve as a creative reprieve to millions of users around the world.

Wilson also said that he cannot think of a better way for their gaming family to give back to the world’s essential workers and he is so proud of both their incredible users and the SciPlay team for working together to raise and donate critical funds to Direct Relief.

As part of the incentive, payers were rewarded for their achievements during game-play, accruing donations for Direct Relief.  The more completed game objective, the more cash raised.
