Yggdrasil Gaming, a popular provider of superior online gaming solutions for iGaming operators to a number of the world’s leading operators, is thrilled to reveal that it has enhanced its presence in the soon-to-be regulated Swedish market by entering into an agreement with Svenska Spel Sport and Casino (a subsidiary of AB Svenska Spel), in terms of which it will provide the latter with its casino slots content.
Svenska Spel is a state-owned company that operates in the regulated gambling market in Sweden. Founded in the year 1997 by the merger of the two state companies, Penninglotteriet and Tipstjanst the company is now the largest and most established gaming operator in the Swedish market. Svenska Spel’s brands include Triss, Lotto, Oddset, Stryktipset, Vegas and Casino Cosmopol. The Swedish market is due to open its doors to regulated online gaming on Tuesday, 1st January 2019.
The agreement will see Yggdrasil’s portfolio of innovative slot games being integrated to Svenska Spel and include Hanzo’s Dojo, Penguin City as well as the latest release Wolf Hunters that calls on players to take on a Werewolf in its latest quest-based video slot.
Fredrik Elmqvist, Chief Executive Officer at Yggdrasil, commented that they are really happy to have agreed terms with Svenska Spel ahead of the Swedish market regulating next year.
