Round three of the Microgaming sponsored Isle of Man Cross-Country League is scheduled to take place this Sunday over the Crossags course outside of Ramsey.

The registration desk will, as usual, be open between 1 and 2 p.m. at the amenity block on the campsite.Participants have been requested to arrive in good time should they be entering on the day.It should be noted that those who have entered for the series are not required to check in unless their number has been lost, as a new number will need to be issued.

The underfoot conditions of the hilly course will be determined by the weather over the next few days.Everyone is requested to park their vehicles in the Ramsey Grammar School car parks due to the fact that space is limited higher up.

The under-nine boys’ and girls’ event will commence at 2 pm over 860 meters (two small laps) which will be followed at 2.35 pm by all other age groups.Under-15 boys and girls and under-17 girls and junior women will cover two full laps (4,660m).

The under-seventeen girls and junior women will cover two full laps (4,660m) while the u17 boys, junior men, senior and veteran women will run three full laps (6,990m).  The senior and veteran men will also start at 2.35 and will cover four full laps which is a total distance of 9.320m.

The senior events will see Rachael Franklin and Alan Corlett who have had clear wins in both events up to now and it will+be seen if they can be caught on the Hillary terrain at Ramsey. Northern AC was thanked for hosting and Microgaming for the valued support of local cross country events.
