William Hill has announced the closure of three of the group’s online casino entities and has emphasized that the crucial decision has been made as part of a ‘continuous’ brand evaluation.

The gambling group confirmed that the brands to be closed would be 21 Nova, Eurogrand and William Hill Casino Club.  The closure has also been detailed by the gambling group in an email communication addressed to affiliates.

According to William Hill, following a ‘period of review’ the company will in future focus on their William Hill and Mr Green brands’ and that there are no plans to streamline their portfolio further and they remain committed to their core brands.

In the email, William Hill also revealed that it would be removing all marketing material for the three brands on Friday, 26th November 2021, before ceasing to accept new customers from Monday, 29th November 2021.

Customers will, following this, have until Monday, 24th January 2022, to withdraw or play the remaining balances before 21 Nova, Eurogrand and William Hill Casino Club cease to offer products or services.  Affiliates have been requested to immediately remove all promotions related to the three brands.

A spokesperson for William Hill has confirmed the move, saying that they have taken a strategic decision to close their 21 Nova, Eurogrand and William Hill Casino Club brands.  The spokesperson went on to say that this comes as part of their continuous evaluation of their brands and business footprint. ‘
