William Hill, a top UK bookmaker, has revealed that it has signed a multi-year extension to its partnership with top-tier English football club Tottenham Hotspur.

The betting and gaming company will continue as the Premier League outfit’s official partner for Europe and benefit from a presence across Spur’s growing digital channels and LED perimeter adverting boards at Tottenham home matches.

Tottenham fans will be able to place bets on the William Hill App and mobile betting site via high-density Wi-Fi inside the football team’s new stadium, which is scheduled to open in time for the start of the 2018-19 season.

William Hill, which first partnered with Tottenham Hotspur ahead of the 2016/17 season, has been investing in community projects that have been delivered by the football club’s charitable body, the Tottenham Hotspur Foundation.  This has included William Hill’s six-figure grant to fund the Tottenham Hotspur Elevator Program which has since assisted young people in Haringey to find employment.

The company will continue its charitable work following the new deal, as part of its community commitment through their “Close to Home” campaign, which endeavors to make a positive contribution to the local community.

Fred Jones, the Head of Partnerships at Tottenham Hotspur, commented that this new agreement reinforces William Hill’s commitment to the club and the borough of Haringey and they look forward to continuing their partnership as they approach their move back to Tottenham and their new stadium.

Ulrik Bengtsson, Chief Digital Officer at William Hill, added that they are delighted to extend their partnership with Tottenham Hotspur.  He added that they have built strong ties with the club, staff and the fans over the past two seasons and are excited to grow their relationship as the club enters a significant chapter in their history with the move into their new stadium.
