Vita Media Group, a Danish iGaming company has revealed that it recently acquired Greenplay, a subsidiary of Spanish group Codere Online Management Services, an international gaming operator based in Spain.

Vita Media is endeavoring to enhance its market position in European and Latin American sectors by incorporating the casino brand into its OMG Affiliates division.

The merger will see all affiliates operating on the Greenplay casino under the terms of agreements with Codere Online Management Services transferred to the OMG affiliates platform.  Once this migration is completed, Vita intends introducing all affiliates to the company’s own account management system.

Jimmi Meilstrup, the Chief Executive Officer of Vita Media Group, commented that the acquisition of the Greenplay casino brand is a massive expansion of their iGaming ecosystem.

Meilstrup went on to say that they are reinventing their presence in existing markets, and at the same time they are trying to unlock new market possibilities.  He added that this strategic investment allows them to be more creative and offer a lot more quality on the market in 2022.

The acquisition of Greenplay is the third affiliate merger made by Vita Media in 2021; having acquired the Trada Affiliates brand in the UK previously and another Danish company, AffiliSearch.

After completing the takeover of AffiliSearch, Vita branded the development as strategically significant in helping the company diversify and improve its commercial offering for iGaming incumbents.

Once the transaction was complete, an extended OMG Affiliates has been led by Elana Shokarovska, Head of Affiliates at Vita Media Group.
