Leading UK-based sports betting operator William Hill US will be entering Florida for the first time after partnering with Casino Miami to open a new race book.

The operator is hoping to open the facility by the end of next month.  However, the launch of the race book is subject to regulatory approval.

The new venue will boast 10 screens which will give fans an opportunity to follow events, together with a 30ft video wall, 30 race carrels and high-top tables.

Joe Asher, Chief Executive Officer of William Hill US, commented that Casino Miami is a great location with a modern space where they have created a first-class experience for all racing fans in the area.

Asher went on to say that they look forward to working with Phil Ruffin and his team to enable their customers to bet on races from across the country.

Ruffin, owner of Casino Miami, said that William Hill has unparalleled expertise and a rich history in racing.  He added that the company has led the industry for decades and together they will bring state-of-the-art technology and innovation to Casino Miami.

Ruffin also said that this new race book will provide them with an incredible amenity for guests and will place them at the forefront of the forthcoming Florida sports betting business.

The new facility will offer players pari-mutuel simulcast betting and the opportunity to watch and wage on major Thoroughbred, Harness and Greyhound tracks as well as Jai Alai from around the country.   It is not yet known what type of bonus promotions will be offered and if the bet app will be offered next year.
