Genius Sports Group, a global leader in digital sports content, technology and integrity services, has announced that it has entered into a deal that will see it supply one of Italy’s largest online betting and gaming platform providers, Microgame with official in-play sportsbook content.

In terms of the new partnership, more than 25 licensed Italian sportsbook brands operating on the Microgame platform solution “Intrabos’ will be provided with Genius’ acclaimed and bespoke LiveData and LiveTrading services.

The partnership will also see Microgame’s current and future customers gaining access to Genius’ official live sports data and pricing which drives fast and reliable in-play betting products for major sports. This includes the English Premier League, LigaMX, European basketball, NASCAR as well as a complete range of FIBA and FIVB competitions.

Included in Microgame’s vast Italian market customer base are Betland, Betflag and Goldbet.

Jack Davison, Chief Commercial Officer at Genius Sports, commented that the Italian market has been a hub of major investment for Genius Sports in recent years from hiring to product development and official rights acquisitions.

Davison also said that partnering with Microgame, another respected supplier in the region, is expected to further their local reach and will enable over 25 new sportsbooks to unlock additional in-play engagement revenues.

Marco Castaldo, Chief Executive Officer of Microgame, said that the partnership with Genius Sports Group is an important step in the continuing development of their sportsbook.

Castaldo added that the Genius data service will further improve top-quality event coverage for their customers, ensuring a better player experience and additional revenue opportunities.
