Stats Perform, an industry leader in data and artificial intelligence technology, has entered into an agreement with Cricket South Africa (CSA) in terms of which it will become its exclusive and official Data Partner.
The deal will see Stats Perform cover both local and international competitions and deliver data to betting operators.
Through its RunningBall brand, Stats Perform will be authorized to collect, analyze and deliver data to global broadcast and betting operators in an endeavor to deepen the punters’ and fans’ engagement with Cricket South Africa – including its players and team.
The partnership will also see –
- CSA staff (coaches, analysts, etc.) having access to Stats Perform’s ProVision recruitment tool.
- Stats Perform distributing exclusive live match video streams to licensed sportsbook operators through the Watch&Bet betting platform.
- Cricket South Africa news clips distributed by Stats Perform to global media.
- Stats Perform including live streams and live data for all CSA home international fixtures, as well as domestic competitions.
Kugrandrie Govendor, Chief Commercial Executive of CSA commented that the sports group has a vision to make cricket a national sport of winners, supported by most South Africans, and to pursue excellence on the field.
Govendor added that to achieve their goal, they need a comprehensive and premier data provider with a proven track record with global cricket competitions.
